We serve in Children’s Ministry at Castro Valley First Baptist Church in order to spiritually equip, support & strengthen children and their families, so that they may come to know Christ and the power of His resurrection - Philippians 3:10a

Preschool - Kindergarten

We use hands-on curriculum with loving, nurturing teachers to provide an attractive Christian Education program for our impressionable little ones. Classes are available at 9:00 & 10:45 am. Children 0-2 years are in the nursery and children 2-K are in various classes (see locations below).

Elementary

9:00 AM – Treasure Hunt Children in grades 1 – 5 experience worship in the sanctuary as a class. They are then dismissed to Room 206 for a time of sharing God’s Word and applying it to their personal lives and present circumstances.

10:45 AM – Fort Friendship Children will study the Bible and participate in this interactive program. Small group sessions, worship time and skits are all elements of this ministry.

The 1st - 2nd grades will be studying the New Testament Heroes and the 3rd - 5th grade will be traveling through the book of Acts.

Footsteps in Faith

Semiannual baptism classes are held on Sundays for grades 4 through 6.
